Nazareth Hosts Tobacco Summit

Nazareth College is pleased to host a Tobacco Policy Summit on December 4 from 9:00 a.m. – noon in the College’s Shults Center Forum. The summit was formed by the Nazareth College Tobacco Task Force and the Rochester Regional Colleges Tobacco-Free Initiative. The summit will allow representatives from several local colleges to collaborate concerning the creation and implementation of new tobacco or smoking policies. Ty Patterson, Executive Director of the National Center for Tobacco Policy will speak to the issues and concerns about going tobacco/smoke-free campus. The event is open to the entire Nazareth community as well as the general public, but please RSVP to Nicole LaRose of the American Cancer Society at nicole.larose@cancer.org.
