The Power of Empowerment is a special day of inspiration, encouragement and positive messages. This community event, being held on Sunday, January 13th, 2013 from 11:30 AM – 3 PM at The Inn on the Lake, 770 South Main Street in Canandaigua, NY, presents courageous and successful women who share powerful healing stories after having faced extraordinary life-altering circumstances and the odds they had to overcome in order to move forward in a positive, confident, and productive manner. The sharing of these journeys as well as the challenging, yet rewarding, road these women traveled from ‘Survivor’ to ‘Thriver’ touches deeply on ‘respect, perseverance, resilience, and love for oneself.’ The Power of Empowerment is a welcoming afternoon to all who are facing, or have faced difficulties, stresses, and adversity with focus on empowering one to have hope, faith, and courage when confronted with challenging and life-changing situations.
