Penfield Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will present a Spring Concert on Monday February 11, 2013 entitled The Three R's, featuring one of Rossini’s masterpieces “Overture to The Barber of Seville”, Ravel’s mesmerizing “Boléro” with its many unusual tonal colors, and Respighi’s dramatic “The Pines of Rome”, evoking the atmosphere and history of ancient Rome; and the amazing winner of our Young Artists Competition, 15-year-old Pittsford resident Annie Jacobs-Perkins (cello) will perform the extremely challenging “Variations on a Rococo Theme” by Tchaikovsky.
