Nazareth Hosts Fourth Annual Alzheimer's Lecture, Feb. 13

Nazareth College’s Gerontology Program is proud to welcome Keith Harrington, director of programs and services at the Alzheimer’s Association of the Rochester and the Finger Lakes, as the keynote speaker at its fourth annual Alzheimer’s lecture. Harrington will speak on Wednesday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Nazareth Otto A. Shults Center Forum, located at 4245 East Avenue Rochester, NY 14618, about Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and different approaches to improve communication with those who suffer from these neurological diseases. This is lecture is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Gerontology Club, the Gerontology Program, and the Sigma Phi Omega Honor Society.
Donations will be collected prior to the lecture for Alzheimer’s care, support, research, awareness, and advocacy. Donations will be presented to Harrington and the Alzheimer’s Association on the evening of the event. Those who donate will be entered to win one of two raffle baskets as well as a purple ribbon to support the fight against Alzheimer’s.
